Simple Marshmallow Treat by theresahelmer

This super simple marshmallow treat, ALL of us know how to make it. All you need are some wooden skewers, marshmallow of your choice, cake sprinkles and some cake gel icings (available at your local stores), i also added some delicious Jelly Belly beans in small glass cups (that i decorated with some beautiful ribbon stickers) .

400 year old thatched roof coaching inn which inspired a scene in Dickens The Pickwick Papers.
"It was a comfortable-looking place. There was a strong cheerful light in the bar-window," begins Dickens's description of this handsome stone and thatch 16th-century inn on the Marlborough Downs. Its heyday was as a coaching inn between London and Bath, (hence the name), when waggoners would stop to freshen up and horses would get re-shoed at the inn's smithy. Dickens travelled this way in 1835 and featured it in The Bagman's Story in The Pickwick Papers. The open-plan bar retains great charm and character, with stone walls, old settles on flagstones, and a blazing log fire on winter days.

Super fun to test out all the brown tones  about 90% of the drawing is color pencils the last 10 % is white acrylic ( highlights )

This time i used a paper called :  bøttepapir 300g ( when i translate it in google i get : hand made paper ) The paper is good for blending just a few layers but it gets easily destroys if you work to much on it. It was good to try it out, i needed to rethink my working method. And i think that every artist should do that  just try something that they know will not work in their own style, and see how they can use it to their advantage

Tried something new during my vacation in Greece(August). I actually had no intention to upload these scetches, at least not as seperate image(maybe in a scetchdump), but Acayth saw them in my scetchbook yesterday and told me so upload them...and her advice regarding these matters has worked out pretty well several times for me, so yeah

I tried to draw several different dog-breeds in a cartoonish style: Greyhound, Pug(what an abdomination), German Shepherd, Chihuahua, Poodle, some kind of Terrier that looks an awful lot like Lissy, and a Bernard.

Look, a conceptual photo! I don't realy remember when was the last time when I worked on a real concept. But it's here and it makes me sooo happy!
And I've realised a very exciting thing: it seems that I was working on a project without even knowing it! Yes, a porject. It's crazy. Since I left high school, I took relatively a lot of photos about learning. This one is the 5th one. And I'm sure I will do more photos about studying, so I've decided to call it the Study Series

Strawberry and White Chocolate Mousse Tartlet by cakecrumbs

I made these tartlets for a gathering with Cam's family. The tartlets are chocolate shortcrust pastry filled with a layer of fresh strawberry jelly and topped with white chocolate mousse.

Two of his family members are vegan, so I made this completely vegan simply by subbing a few ingredients in my normal recipes. The most notable change, flavour-wise, is the use of coconut cream in the mousse. It gives it a hint of coconut I just loved, as did everyone else.
